Free Health Clinic at Seattle Center October 23-26

All are welcome at Seattle/King County Clinic with Remote Area Medical®, Oct. 23 – 26, in KeyArena at Seattle Center. This giant health clinic, presented by a host community of over 50 partner organizations, offers a full range of free dental, vision and medical care to anyone in need. The goal is to serve 1,000 patients on each day. Seattle Department of Neighborhoods is proud to be a sponsor of this event.

Patients will receive treatment on a first-come, first-served basis. They may park free-of-charge in 1st Ave. N. Garage at Seattle Center beginning at 12:01 a.m. on each day of the Clinic. The Northwest Rooms, located just to the north of KeyArena, will serve as the waiting area, where the limited amount of admission numbers will be distributed beginning at 3:30 a.m. for the current day. Doors to KeyArena open at 5:30 a.m., and patients will be admitted by number into the Clinic.

All services, procedures and prescriptions are provided free-of-charge by licensed male and female healthcare professionals. Interpretation services are also available, and patients do not need to show identification or proof of citizenship. Learn more at:  www.seattlecenter.org.

KeyArena at Seattle Center will be the site of a massive health clinic providing free dental, vision and medical care to anyone in need from October 23-26. Seattle Department of Neighborhoods is proud to be a sponsor of this event.

Intended to serve vulnerable and underserved people in our region, the Seattle/King County Clinic with Remote Area Medical® (RAM) is truly an inclusive event providing a broad range of free services. Patients will register on-site on each day of the four-day event, and they will not be asked to show identification, proof of citizenship, health insurance, or any other eligibility documentation.

Patients will receive treatment on a first-come, first-served basis. They may park free-of-charge in 1st Ave. N. Garage at Seattle Center beginning at 12:01 a.m. on each day of the Clinic. This is not just another health fair. Seattle/King County Clinic patients will receive real, and in many instances, extensive care including dental fillings and extractions, comprehensive eye exams and free prescription eyeglasses, physical exams, Pap smears, mammograms, EKGs, x-rays, lab tests, flu vaccines, foot care, acupuncture and much, much more,” said Andrew Lofton, Executive Director, Seattle Housing Authority.

Seattle/King County Clinic is produced in partnership with the humanitarian organization Remote Area Medical® (RAM) and more than 50 health, human service and civic organizations from across the State of Washington. Hundreds of licensed healthcare professionals will staff the clinic, donating their time and expertise, and it is expected to provide free services to as many as 1,000 patients each day.
