Here at Seattle Parks and Recreation we have a lot to be thankful for. Our incredible staff and innovative projects received awards from the Washington Recreation and Park Association, Seattle Management Association, the American Society of Landscape Architects and the Seattle Design Commission this year. We had volunteers donate nearly 10,000 hours restoring our parks during Earth Month in April. Seattle voters approved Proposition 1 in August creating a parks district which will provide sustainable funding for Seattle Parks ensuring that our programs and facilities can continue to serve your communities.
What are you thankful for this year?
