Detectives Investigating Monday Morning Homicide in Pioneer Square Neighborhood

Homicide Detectives are investigating after a man was murdered in Pioneer Square Monday morning.

Officers responded to the 100 block of Yesler Way at 4:12 am Monday for a report of a stabbing. Officers found and immediately began CPR on the 47-year-old victim.

Seattle Fire Department Medics took the man to Harborview Medical Center where he later died.

Officers spoke with people in the area and determined the incident began as a disturbance between the two parties. Officers are working with possible witnesses to develop a suspect description at this time.

Detectives Investigating Saturday Night Homicide

Detectives are investigating after a man in his twenties was killed Saturday night near Alki Beach.

Just after 10 p.m. Witnesses began calling 911 to report a man had been stabbed near Alki Avenue Southwest and Harbor Avenue Southwest. Officers arrived moments later and began CPR on the man but he died at the scene.

Homicide detectives are working with witnesses to develop a possible suspect description. Detectives believe that this is not a random attack.

Homicide Investigation in West Seattle

Homicide detectives are currently conducting their investigation following the fatal shooting of a man in the parking lot of the West Seattle Stadium earlier this evening.

Shortly after 7:30 pm,  Southwest Precinct officers responded to a report of a shooting in the parking outside the stadium in the 4400 block of 35th Avenue SW.  Officers arrived within minutes, and located the victim, a male in his forties, on the ground.  The victim had sustained life-threatening injuries after he was struck several times by bullets.  Officers immediately began life-saving measures until the Seattle Fire Department took over and transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center.  Unfortunately, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was declared deceased at the hospital.

Detectives from the Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Investigators responded to process the scene.  Detectives are also interviewing individuals who were in the parking lot at the time.

There is very little suspect or suspect vehicle description to provide at this time.  This remains an active and on-going investigation and the information is subject to change.

Homicide Investigation in Ballard

Homicide detectives are now conducting the follow up investigation after they responded to the scene early this morning.

On Sunday, April 22nd, at 1:45 am, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 4900 block of Leary Avenue NW.  Officers located the 29-year-old male victim in the street in the 4900 block of 17th Avenue NW suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.  Officers performed CPR until relieved by Seattle Fire.  The victim was pronounced dead while being transported to the hospital.

36-Year-Old Man Arrested for Domestic Violence Homicide In South Seattle

Police arrested a 36-year-old man in South Seattle late Monday after he fatally wounded his brother.

Around 11 PM, officers responded to a report of two men armed with knives fighting at an apartment building in the 4800 block of Garden Street.

Police arrived and found a 51-year-old man with significant knife wounds. The Seattle Fire Department pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.

Officers arrested his 36-year-old brother, who was later booked into the King County Jail for investigation of domestic violence homicide.
