Seattle Parks and Recreation planning to reopen outdoor pools and wading pools tomorrow, Aug. 23

Based upon the current forecast predicting cleaner air in the region tomorrow, Seattle Parks and Recreation is planning on reopening our two outdoor pools, Colman Pool (8603 Fauntleroy Way SW) and Mounger Pool (2535 32nd Ave. W), as well as the remaining wading pools that are operating for the season (Green Lake, Volunteer Park, Van Asselt, and Lincoln Park wading pools) on Thursday, Aug. 23.

Seattle Parks and Recreation closed these facilities on Tuesday, Aug. 21 and Wednesday, Aug. 22 due to the poor air quality.

Before heading to a facility or program, please check our website or Twitter page for the latest opening/closure information.
