SDOT is advising travelers to be aware of the following events happening around the city that may affect area traffic. The Mariners home opener is Thursday 7:10 p.m. at Safeco Field. There are Mariners day games on Saturday and Sunday at 1:10 p.m. at Safeco. The Sounders play Saturday night at CenturyLink at 7 p.m. Sakura-Con starts on Friday at the Washington State Convention Center and runs through Sunday.

Odesza Concert: The concert at WaMu Theater starts at 8 p.m. The doors open at 7 p.m. About 9,000 people are expected to attend.
FRIDAY, MARCH 30 – SUNDAY APRIL 1:
Sakura-Con ‘18: At the Washington State Convention Center. Sakura-Con is the anime, manga (comics), gaming, and Asian culture convention. About 18,000 people are expected to attend daily.

CONSTRUCTION
March 30 – April 2: Fairview Ave N between Republican and Harrison streets will be fully closed from 10 p.m. Friday, March 30 to 2 a.m. Monday, April 2 for private construction crane removal.
March 31 – April 1: 1st Ave S is closed in both directions between Yesler Way and S Jackson St for underground utility work.
March 26 – April 9: 4th Ave S from Royal Brougham to S Spokane St will have nighttime lane restrictions in both directions for roadway striping. Pedestrian access and two-way traffic will be maintained during this work. Flaggers will be on site to help direct traffic.
