The following events and construction projects may affect you getting around the City this week. The CannaCon convention is at the Washington State Convention Center, Thursday through Saturday. The Seattle Home Show is at CenturyLink Field Event Center from Saturday through next Sunday, February 25.
February 15 – 17 CannaCon at the Washington State Convention Center. Three-day convention for the cannabis industry. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. About 15,000 people are expected to attend throughout the weekend.
February 16 Tobymac Concert at KeyArena at 7 p.m. About 8,000 people are expected to attend.
February 17 – 25 Seattle Home Show at CenturyLink Field Event Center. Show hours are 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends. Approximately 60,000 people are expected to attend throughout the show.
February 13 – 16 Howell St will be reduced to one lane between 9th Ave and Boren Ave from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for sewer line work.
February 15 Washington State Department of Transportation crews will close the northbound I-5 exit to Madison St overnight from 10 p.m. Thursday to 2 a.m. Friday for survey work.
February 17 – 18 Private construction crews will close 2nd Ave between Virginia St and Union St overnight for tower crane work.
February 17 – 18 SDOT crews will reduce Columbia St to one lane between 3rd Ave and 1st Ave from 9 a.m. Saturday until 10 p.m. on Sunday for roadway restoration work. In addition, the right-turn lane from southbound 2nd Ave to westbound Columbia St will be closed.
