SDOT advises travelers that crews will be constructing new curb ramps and a new curb bulb at the intersection of Queen Anne Dr and Warren Ave N starting on Saturday, December 2, which will take approximately two weeks. This work is weather-dependent and is subject to change.
Between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. beginning on Saturday, December 2, and lasting approximately two weeks, travelers can expect:
- Queen Anne Dr will be reduced at times to one lane of alternating traffic at Warren Ave N
- Warren Ave N will be closed at Queen Anne Dr in both directions
- Local access only to Warren Ave N will be maintained
- Flaggers will assist with traffic through the work zone
This project will improve accessibility for people with mobility challenges with the installation of three new curb ramps and a curb bulb at the intersection of Queen Anne Dr and Warren Ave N. Funding for this project comes from the Neighborhood Park and Street Fund which funds small-scale improvements to streets and parks, which are voted on by Seattle residents.
If you have questions or concerns about this project, please contact Becky Fiedler at (206) 684-5116 or becky.fiedler@seattle.gov.
SDOT would like to thank the public for its patience while this work is completed.
