Officers are searching for a suspect after he was seen stabbing a man Sunday afternoon in the International District.
Witnesses called 911 just after 4 p.m. Sunday when they saw a 41-year-old man stabbed in the back in a parking lot. Witnesses said the assault happened in the 500 block of South Jackson Street following some type of argument.
Officers arrived and found the victim bleeding from multiple wounds to his side and back. Officers provided first aid until Seattle Fire Department Medics transported the man to Harborview Medical Center for further treatment. The victim is listed in stable condition and is recovering from his injuries.
Officers spoke with the witnesses who said a light-skinned black male in his 20’s wearing a tan jacket stabbed the victim. Officers searched the area but were unable to find the suspect.
