SDOT advises travelers to be aware of the following events in the city that may affect traffic. Several Halloween events around the city Tuesday evening. The Seattle Sounders FC has a match on Thursday night at CenturyLink Field. The UW Huskies play at Husky Stadium on Saturday night. The Seahawks play at CenturyLink Field on Sunday afternoon.
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 31:
Magnolia Village Trick or Treat: Annual event on W McGraw St between 32nd Ave W and 34th Ave W from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. About 950 people are expected to attend.
Boo Bash at the Beach: Rainier Beach Halloween Party at 9262 Rainier Ave S from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. About 4,000 people are expected to attend.
Trolloween 2017: Birthday party for the Fremont Troll at 7 p.m. followed by annual Haunt of Fremont march at 8 p.m. through the community. About 300 people are expected to attend.
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 2:
Take Back the Night: March starting at Cornish College of the Arts from 6:30 p.m. to 8: 30 p.m. About 130 people are expected to attend.
Seattle Sounders vs. Vancouver Whitecaps at 7:30 p.m. at CenturyLink Field. About 45,000 people are expected to attend.
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 4:
Let My People Work: Rally on Broad St between Denny Way and 4th Ave in support of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. About 2,000 people are expected to attend.
It Begins: Drive Out the Trump/Pence Regime: Rally at City Hall Plaza followed by 12:30 p.m. march on downtown streets.
UW Huskies vs. Oregon at 7 p.m. at Husky Stadium. About 70,000 people are expected to attend. Go Dawgs!
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 5:
Not Your Mascot Rally and March: To protest the Washington Redskins’ name and mascot. Rally at 9 a.m. at Occidental Park, followed by march at 11:15 a.m. to CenturyLink Field.
Seahawks vs. Washington Redskins at 1:05 p.m. at CenturyLink Field. About 67,000 people are expected to attend. Go Hawks!
