Lane Closures on Denny Way Saturday, September 23

SEATTLE – Crews working on behalf of Seattle City Light will close lanes in both directions on Denny Way between Stewart St and Fairview Ave for final paving. The Denny Way lane closures will occur between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. on Saturday, September 23.

What to expect:

  • From 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, September 23, both westbound lanes of Denny Way between Stewart Street and Fairview Avenue will be closed. One eastbound lane will be open to general traffic. Pedestrian access will be provided via the sidewalk on the south side of Denny Way.
  • From 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, September 23, both eastbound lanes of Denny Way between Stewart Street and Fairview Avenue will be closed. One westbound lane will be open to general traffic. Pedestrian access will be provided via the sidewalk on the north side of Denny Way.
  • Detours will be in place for the closure of Denny Way.
  • A uniformed police officer will be at Fairview Ave and Denny Way to assist with traffic control during the closures.
