SDOT advises travelers that the repaving of parts of S Michigan St, Corson Ave S and S Bailey St began today, Monday, August 14, and is expected to take approximately 3 to 4 months to complete. This work is weather-dependent and subject to change.

- Crews to be repaving S Michigan St between 4th Ave S and Corson Ave S, Corson Ave S from S Michigan St to S Orcas St, and S Bailey St from Corson Ave S to Carleton Ave S.
- From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, a single eastbound lane on S Michigan St east of 4th Ave S will remain open in the active work zone.
- Crews will work west to east, on one side of the street at a time and complete paving on both sides of the street before moving on.
