Events Traffic Advisory for Tuesday, April 11 – Sunday, April 16

SDOT advises travelers to be aware of the following events happening in the city that may affect traffic. The Seattle Mariners play Tuesday evening through Sunday afternoon at Safeco Field. Sakura-Con runs Friday through Sunday at the Washington State Convention Center. Two marches and rallies are planned in downtown Seattle on Saturday.

TUESDAY, APRIL 11 – SUNDAY, APRIL 16:

Seattle Mariners at Safeco Field:

Tuesday, April 11, Mariners vs. Houston, 7:10 p.m. About 20,000 people are expected to attend.

Wednesday, April 12, Mariners vs. Houston, 7:10 p.m. About 18,000 people are expected to attend.

Friday, April 14, Mariners vs. Texas, 7:10 p.m. About 44,000 people are expected to attend.

Saturday, April 15, Mariners vs. Texas, 6:10 p.m. About 36,000 people are expected to attend.

Sunday, April 16, Mariners vs. Texas, 1:10 p.m. About 28,000 people are expected to attend.

THURSDAY, APRIL 13:

Snoop’s Wellness Retreat Concert at WaMu Theater at CenturyLink Field.  Doors open at 7 p.m. About 7,200 people are expected to attend.

FRIDAY, APRIL 14 – SUNDAY, APRIL 16:

Sakura-Con ’17  at Washington State Convention Center. About 20,000 people are expected to attend each day.

SATURDAY, APRIL 15th:

Tax March Seattle: Rally begins at 10 a.m. at the Federal Building at 2nd Ave and Marion St, followed by a march at 11 a.m.  March starts at 2nd Ave and Marion St, east on Marion St, north on 4th Ave, north Cedar St, north on 5th Ave N and west on Harrison St into Seattle Center. About 7,000 people are expected to participate.

Black Lives Matter – March on Seattle 2.0: Rally at Westlake Park at 2 p.m. followed by a march and rally at the US Federal Courthouse at 7th Ave and Stewart St. March starts at 3:30 p.m. About 18,000 people are expected to participate.
