2nd Ave Reduced to One Lane Between Pine St and Pike St on Saturday, April 8 and Sunday, April 9

SDOT is advising travelers that 2nd Ave between Pine and Pike streets will be reduced to one lane of traffic from 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 8 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 9. These closures are needed to complete utility and drainage work associated with the 2nd Ave Mobility Improvements project.

Travelers can expect:
• Traffic reduced to one lane on the west side of 2nd Ave between Pine and Pike streets
• Large construction vehicles, lights, noise from trucks, back-up alarms, and other equipment
• Sidewalks to remain open

This is continued work for the 2nd Ave Mobility Improvements project that will add and upgrade traffic signals and extend the 2nd Ave protected bike lane from Denny Way to Pike St. Please visit the project web page for more information: http://www.seattle.gov/transportation/2ndave.htm. SDOT would like to thank the public for its patience while this work is completed.
