Each year, the Seattle Fire Department participates in the nationwide Toys for Tots program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve. Fire Stations serve as drop-off points for new and unwrapped toys for those wishing to donate to economically disadvantaged children during the holidays. The toys collected are then distributed by the Marine Corps to area nonprofit organizations that serve the community.

The toy drive runs December 5 – 23, 2016.
