SDOT advises travelers that crews will close Dilling Way between Fourth Avenue and Yesler Way on Tuesday, October 11, for the duration of the Yesler Way Bride project. “No parking” and “Road work ahead” signs will be placed around the work zone prior to the start of the closure.
Starting on Tuesday, October 11, travelers can expect:
- Complete closure of Dilling Way between Fourth Ave and Yesler Way
- Expansion of project work area across Dilling Way
- No parking availability on Dilling Way for the duration of the project
- Pedestrian, bicycle, vehicle, and bus detours around work areas
Construction zone notification signs will be placed around the work zone prior to the start of work.
This work will improve the safety and reliability of Yesler Bridge while preserving its historical elements. SDOT appreciates the public’s patience while this work is being done.
