Human Services Department Announces Sept. 15 Symposium

Today the Human Services Department announced the Human Services Symposium on September 15.  The symposium will offer a special opportunity to engage in a conversation with national and local leaders about the intersection between results, racial equity and capacity in human services.

The City of Seattle Human Services Department is committed to achieving a results oriented culture and racial equity. Strengthening the capacity of the human services sector will help us achieve this.

What: A conversation with national and local leaders about the intersection of results, racial equity and capacity in human services

Who: Seattle human services sector including Nonprofit Leaders, Philanthropy, Public Sector, and Academia (by special invitation)

When: Thursday, September 15 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm

Where: Langston Hughes Performing Arts Center (104 17th Avenue S., Seattle 98144)

Special Guest: Dr. Michael McAfee, Vice President for Programs at PolicyLink
