With temperatures expected in the high 80s on Saturday and in the 90s on Sunday, Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) reminds park users to stay cool and hydrated, and to avoid swimming in waters that are still cold. Seniors and people with health concerns may experience impacts from the heat.
SPR is gearing up for the summer season. This weekend, Colman Pool in West Seattle’s Lincoln Park and Lowery C. “Pop” Mounger Pool in Magnolia are open Saturday and Sunday. Madrona and East Green Lake beaches will also be open this weekend with lifegaurds from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
