UPDATE: The second suspect, Jamie-Rodriguez, was just arrested in South Park. He is being interviewed by detectives.
The Seattle Police Department has arrested a suspect in the murder of Celina Peterson, who was found in an alley in the South Park neighborhood on February 15th, 2015.
Today, following an exhaustive investigation by Seattle Police homicide detectives, Seattle Police SWAT arrested 24-year-old man as he was leaving a home in the South Park neighborhood and booked him into the King County Jail for Investigation of Homicide.
The Seattle Police Department is still searching for a second suspect in the case and is asking for the public’s assistance in locating him. Emanuel Jaime-Rodriguez, 20, is wanted in connection with the death of Ms. Peterson, and detectives are asking anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to call the SPD via the Violent Crimes Tip Line at (206) 233-5000 or 911.
