SDOT advises travelers to be aware of the following events happening around the city this week that will affect area traffic. The Mariners have an evening game tonight and a day game on Wednesday. The Sounders play CenturyLink Field on Saturday night. Sir Paul McCartney plays KeyArena Sunday night.
Seattle Mariners vs. Texas, Tuesday, April 12th at 7:10 p.m. About 14,000 people are expected to attend.
Seattle Mariners vs. Texas, Wednesday, April 13th at 12:40 p.m. About 18,000 are expected to attend.
THURSDAY, APRIL 14th:
Raise the Alarm March & Rally: There are two marches supporting fair wages and working conditions. The Capitol Hill march begins at 11 a.m. The downtown march leaves Pike Place Market at 1 p.m. The two marches meet at 3rd Ave and Madison St for a rally at 3 p.m. About 200 people are expected to participate.
FRIDAY, APRIL 15th THROUGH SUNDAY, APRIL 17th:
Northwest Women’s Show: The three day show is at CenturyLink Field Event Center. Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. About 3,500 people are expected each day.
SATURDAY, APRIL 16th:
Anti-Barnevernet Protest and March: There is rally for children’s rights in Norway at 9:30 a.m. in Westlake Park followed by a march at 11:00 a.m. through downtown. About 1,000 people are expected to attend.
SATURDAY, APRIL 16th:
Seattle Sounders vs Philadelphia Union, Saturday, April 16th at 7:00 p.m. at CenturyLink Field. About 40,000 people expected to attend.
SUNDAY, APRIL 17TH:
Paul McCartney: The One on One Tour comes to the Key Arena with music spanning Sir Paul McCartney’s entire career. The performance starts at 8 p.m. About 12,000 people are expected to attend.
