Holiday weekend to bring major delays on eastbound I-90 over Vantage Bridge

Washington State Department of Transportation

Drivers traveling on eastbound Interstate 90 near the Vantage Bridge will experience major delays and back-ups this weekend due to increased traffic.

The Washington State Department of Transportation and contractor crews are repainting the Vantage Bridge across the Columbia River. A single lane closure for eastbound drivers is in effect 24 hours a day, 7 days a week until the end of summer. Both westbound lanes are open.

Due to the Fourth of July holiday, drivers will see major delays eastbound starting Thursday, July 2 through Sunday, July 5. Drivers should plan for an hour or more of added travel time or find alternate routes around the Vantage Bridge.
