Police are working to identify a robber who tied a woman up inside her Washington Park home in the early morning hours of June 20th, before making off with jewelry and cash.
The victim told officers she awoke around 4 AM to find the suspect in her bedroom. He demanded access to a safe, and then tied her up. He fled the woman’s home in the 400 block of 39th Avenue E. in a white vehicle, possibly a Chevrolet.
Robbery detectives haven’t yet identified the man, but have put together a sketch of the suspect in the hopes that someone recognizes him:
The victim said the suspect is 5’10, with a medium build and had dark curly hair.
