Seattle Parks offers free lunches and activities during summer break

Youth work on a craft project during their visit to Seattle Parks’ Summer Food Service and Expanded Recreation program.

School may be out, but Seattle Parks and Recreation wants to make sure children still have the opportunity to have healthy meals during the week. Take a look at the listings below to find out where your child can receive free lunches this summer.

Summer Food and Expanded Recreation Program
Seattle Parks will be hosting free, drop-in programs for kids ages 5-14 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday-Friday from June 22 – Aug. 21. Events will take place rain or shine.

Free lunches are available at the below sites each day from noon – 1 p.m. and snacks are available from 3 – 3:30 p.m. Recreational activities may include arts and crafts, board games, organized recreational games and sports.

Summer Food Service Program
Seattle Parks will offer free lunches for ages 18 and under from noon-1 p.m. Monday-Friday from June 22-Aug. 14 at the following sites.
