Drivers heading into downtown Seattle on Interstate 5 and State Route 99 (Aurora Avenue North) should prepare for possible delays on Saturday and Sunday mornings, June 6 and 7.
Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will close multiple southbound lanes on the I-5 Ship Canal Bridge for deck repairs. Maintenance crews will also close southbound lanes on the SR 99 Aurora Bridge for expansion joint repair work.
Closure details
- Saturday, June 6, and Sunday, June 7 – Two right lanes of southbound I-5 at the Ship Canal Bridge will be closed from 5 to 10 a.m. daily.
- Saturday, June 6 – The two right lanes of southbound SR 99 at the Aurora Bridge will be closed from 5 to 11 a.m.
