SDOT is advising travelers to be aware of events happening around the city through the weekend that will add to area traffic. The Weather Education Day event and following daytime Mariners game at Safeco is Wednesday. The Mariners continue play at Safeco through Sunday. There are several runs including the Fremont Briefcase Run on Friday, and Komen Race for the Cure on Sunday. Shania Twain performs at KeyArena Friday night.
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 3:
Weather Education Day: The event at Safeco Field begins at 9:30 a.m. and is followed by the Mariners vs. Yankees game at 12:40 p.m. Bus arrivals begin at 7 a.m. with bus staging on Occidental Avenue S between Edgar Martinez Drive and S Massachusetts Street and on 3rdAvenue S between S Holgate Street and S Royal Brougham Way.
