This weekend crews from the Seattle Department of Transportation will resurface areas adjacent to I-5 northbound on-ramps on Seventh Avenue Northeast at Northeast 45th and Northeast 50th streets, if weather conditions are favorable.
The paving crews plan to work at Northeast 45th on Saturday, April 25 and at Northeast 50th on Sunday, April 26, from 7 a.m. to 5 a.m. on each day. When crews are working next to a ramp, the ramp will be closed and a detour provided except that Metro buses will be allowed to continue using the ramp at Northeast 45th Street. Crosswalks will be closed and pedestrians detoured at both locations. Police Officers will assist drivers and pedestrians.

Seventh Avenue Northeast will also be closed to northbound through traffic with a detour to 11th Avenue Northeast. The crosswalk on the north side of Northeast 45th Street will be closed.
On Sunday when crews work at Northeast 50th Street and Seventh Avenue Northeast traffic to northbound I-5 will be detoured to the on-ramp at Northeast 45th Street using Thackeray Place Northeast. The crosswalks at Northeast 50th Street and Seventh Avenue Northeast will be closed and pedestrians will be detoured to crosswalks at Ninth Avenue Northeast and Northeast 50th Street.
