SDOT is advising travelers to be aware of events happening around the city through the weekend that will add to area traffic. The Mariners continue their opening series against the Angels on Tuesday and Wednesday at Safeco Field. The Specialty Coffee Association of America Expo runs Thursday through Sunday at the Convention Center. There are KeyArena events Friday and Saturday night, and Swan Lake ballet performances at McCaw Hall Friday through the weekend that will add to area traffic.
SAFECO FIELD:
Game two of the Mariners vs. LA Angels opener series is on Tuesday, April 7 at 7:10 p.m. with about 21,000 people expected. The Mariners wrap up their three game series with the LA Angels on Wednesday, April 8 at 7:10 p.m. with about 20,000 people expected. Go M’s!
WASHINGTON STATE CONVENTION CENTER:
The Specialty Coffee Association of America Expo and Symposium starts Thursday, April 9 and runs through Sunday, April 12. There is a Thursday, April 9 Block Party event will close Melrose and Minor avenues between Pine and Pike streets from 7 p.m. to 10 pm.
