Mercer Corridor Project: Full closure of Dexter Avenue N, March 13-14

The Seattle Department of Transportation advises travelers of the following work within the corridor:

While Dexter Avenue North continues to be fully closed for one block south of Mercer Street on Monday through Thursday nights this month as previously announced, it will also be closed for three blocks to the north and one block to the south of Mercer from Friday night, March 13 through Saturday night, March 14.

The detour for vehicles and bicycles for these closures will be Ninth Avenue North. Pedestrians may use the east side of Dexter. Please plan ahead and expect traffic delays. The work is weather-dependent and may be rescheduled if weather is unfavorable.

Full, 24-hour closure of Dexter Avenue N begins Friday, March 13

Dexter Avenue North will be fully closed between Aloha and Republican streets for 24 hours beginning 9 p.m. Friday, March 13 through 9 p.m. Saturday, March 14. Vehicles and bicycles will be detoured to Ninth Avenue North at Aloha and Harrison streets. All travel lanes on Mercer Street will remain open.

Nighttime closure of Dexter Avenue N continues through March

Crews will continue electrical work on Dexter Avenue North between Republican and Mercer streets each night Monday through Thursday between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. through March.
