Gunfire outside a Dunlap restaurant Sunday night left one woman with a gunshot wound to her hand and another person’s car riddled with bullets.
Witnesses called 911 shortly after 10 PM to report shots fired in a parking lot located in the 9400 block of Rainier Avenue South. No one involved in the shooting was there when officers arrived, but a woman soon showed up at Valley Medical Center in Renton with a hand wound.
The 20-year-old victim told police she was standing next to her car around 10 PM when she heard shots, and then felt pain when a bullet tore through her left hand. She did not provide any other information.
A second victim later told police he his parked car was shot five times when he was across the street in a convenience store. He returned home to Puyallup before calling police to report the damage.
Officers are examining evidence left at the scene. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 and talk to officers.
