Police have arrested a 38-year-old man wanted for robbing and stabbing a woman earlier this month in a Belltown alley.
The man attacked the woman on December 2nd near 4th and Lenora, where he knocked her to the ground and stabbed her in the back. He then fled with the woman’s cellphone and cash.
SPD Robbery Detectives began investigating the case and were able to track down surveillance video of the suspect who, as it turns out, is also an acquaintance of the victim.
West Precinct patrol officers spotted the man Tuesday evening in downtown Seattle, arrested him, and booked him into the King County Jail for robbery.
