More than 180 volunteer hours logged on Seattle Works Day

On Saturday, June 7, 120 volunteers from Amazon, Microsoft and Accenture helped remove non-native and invasive plant species from Kubota Gardens natural area and the East Duwamish Greenbelt in honor of Green Seattle Partnership’s Seattle Works Day of Service. Thanks to these volunteers, 3,000 square feet of new acres are now in restoration. More than 180 volunteer hours were logged in the city’s urban forest.
